The Holiday Inn located in Danbury, CT was the first hotel in the Meyer Jabara Hotel Family. Richard Jabara & Bill Meyer proudly opened the doors on April 1977. The hotel had 114 guest rooms, and the birthplace of the soon to become famous Teddy's Restaurant & Lounge. Teddy’s was duplicated at 10 other MJ Hotels over the years. Teddy's was named after Richard's father Theodore Jabara, Sr. The restaurant was named Arthur's after Bill’s father Arthur Meyer.
This hotel launched what is now known as Meyer Jabara Hotels.
